TV Everywhere(TM) is a unique suite of integrated products designed to maximize the ease of watching TV anytime and anywhere. Dish Network’s TV Everywhere (TM) is a unique launch as it provides customers with access to all their live and recorded programming on a laptop, mobile device and anywhere in the home wirelessly. The key components of TV Everywhere(TM) include TV Everywhere Adapter, the award winning ViP 922, the new WiFi HD Monitor and the newly released Dish Remote Access App.
The TV Everywhere Adapter is the world’s smallest Slingbox. The Slingbox technology has been added to the existing Dish Network’s ViP 722K HD DVR receivers to form the TV Everywhere Adapter. It is a sleek, ultra-slim device that can be easily connected to set-top boxes via a single USB cable and subscribers need not have to have additional wires or a separate power supply. Dish Network’s TV Everywhere Adapter allows subscribers to watch their favorite TV programming anytime and anywhere on laptops and mobile phones.
The award-winning ViP(R) 922 is another key component of the TV Everywhere(TM). ViP(R) 922 is the world’s only DVR with built-in Slingbox technology. With this DVR, subscribers can watch and control their favorite programs anytime and anywhere on their laptops and mobile devices. It features a 1TB hard drive with up yo to 1,000 hours of recording time and this hard drive is the largest one in the industry.
Another important component of the TV Everywhere(TM) is the Dish Network WiFi Monitor which is a lightweight, prtable and high-definiyion monitor. Developed by Sling Media, the WiFi Monitor can wirelessly transmit an HD video signal from a set-top box to anywhere in the home via WiFi network. This monitor provides a 16 x 9 widescreen format that displays 720p HD quality and controls all features of a connected Dish Network HD DVR receiver.
Dish Remote Access Mobile App, another key component of the TV Everywhere of Dish Network is a fully featured remote compatible with most SD and HD dish DVR receivers. It is the only app with which satellite TV subscribers can have complete control of their TV everywhere. With this remote, subscribers can set and delete timers on multiple receivers, browse and search nine days of shows and manage their DVR library like setting recording priorities, resolving and recording conflicts and many more. Apart from this, Dish Remote Mobile App can transform an iPhone or iPod touch(R) into a remote control for televisions connected to compatible Dish Network receivers.
