DirecTV, now offers local programming in HD to subscribers of Marquette, Michigan for the first time. Seven Local stations are available through the satellite TV throughout the Market Area that includes three networks in HD.

WBUP/ABC, WJMN/CBS, WLUC/NBC, FOX, WBKP/CW, WNMU/PBS, WNMU2/PBS and WZMQ/MNT are the seven local channels available to Marquette subscribers. Subscribers can enjoy WBUP/ABC, WJMN/CBS and WLUC/NBC in HD and FOX, WBKP/CW, WNMU/PBS, WNMU2/PBS and WZMQ/MNT in Standard definition.

With the launch of local in Marquette, DirecTV also provides a special offer to subscribers those who are upgrading their equipment. When subscribers upgrade their equipment they will get the first receiver for free of cost and all additional receivers for $49 only along with free standard professional installation.

With the launch of locals in Marquette Market, DirecTV is now offering local channels in both HD and Standard definition in 155 markets that represents more than 94 percent of U.S TV households. DirecTV will offer local HD channels in 136 markets with more than 92 percent of U.S TV households.
