Epix, a new movie channel will be launched this October and will also be launching an online video on demand service. It has over 15, 000 films including hit films such as Ironman, Star Trek and the James Bond series. Epic’s on demand service provides movies at 720p HD resolution. The 720p HD resolution shows movies in superb HD clarity.
Epic’s provide movies which are shown in theaters before nine months, which is earlier than movies normally appear on services such as HBO and Showtime premium movie channels.
If Dish Network adds Epix movie channel on their Premium movie channels, then it would add extra colours to their Premium programming package.
