Dish Network L.L.C had introduced Jaya TV, a top rated Tamil channel from India on November 12, 2009. The channel will be available exclusively to subscribers of Dish Network in United States.
Chris Kuelling, the vice president of International Programming for Dish Network said “The addition of Jaya TV brings a unique channel that not only strengthens our South Indian channel lineup, but also offers more value to our customers”. He also added, “We are committed to provide the most diverse and exclusive International programming options in the United States.
Sundaram Ranganathan, CEO of Jaya TV Network said, “Jaya TV offers programs created keeping the global Tamil audience in mind”. He concluded, “with the addition of the U.S market, Jaya TV continues to move forward in its quest to provide Tamilians worldwide with the best of their culture’s programming”.
Jaya TV is available on Dish Network on channel 792 that includes most popular programs like “Jackpot”, “Makkal Arangam”, “Thaka Thimi Tha” and much more. The entertainment channel will feature special hosts Khushbu, Mr.Visu, S.P.Balasubramaniyam and some of the best faces from South Indian Film and Music World.
Subscribers of Dish Network can get Jaya TV for $24.99 per month as a part of the Tamil Mega Pack that includes three Tamil Channels. Subscribers can also have Jaya TV as an A la Carte package for $9.99 per month.
Dish Network offers more than 170 international channels in 28 languages than any other satellite TV provider.
